Once before we asked for "huggers" & the public that would like to just sit & socialize, maybe read a book and/or to love on a dog that needs reassurance....this girl is as SWEET & gentle AS THEY COME!
Meet Nyla
Nyla is a beautiful 2-year-old girl weighing 45 pounds, with the gentlest heart you could ever hope to meet.
She’s incredibly sweet and wants nothing more than to make everyone around her happy. While she can be a little timid and needs help building her confidence, her loving nature shines 🌟💫 through in everything she does♥️
Nyla came in with her boyfriend/husband/companion named Snow & their 2 puppies. Snow is shown the last 2 pictures.
Their owner had to serve some time & truly wanted them cared for in his absence.
He surrendered all 4 so they could find homes with people that love them endlessly.
There is no question he has their best interest at heart.
Their 2 pups have already left the building with one of our rescue groups in NoVa due to their age.
Nyla has shown she does well with cats—she hardly paid them any attention at all because she was much more interested in being close to her people.
She’s a super calm, easygoing girl, affectionate gal who takes treats ever so gently and would be perfectly content curling up beside you for cuddles.
What Nyla needs most is a patient, loving home that will help her see just how wonderful she truly is. The shelter is scary to her just because of the environment.
Even being timid at the shelter, she's still at the front of her kennel beating that tail, hello humans. She is getting more one on one time because she's flashing those worried eyes.
Have no worries Nyla, everyone loves you deeply.

Her "boyfriend/husband/companion" named Snow got neutered this week in preparation for adoption.
Nyla will be spayed next week so she can leave too, no more pups for either dog!
