Precious is a petite little pit bull mix who is still decompressing and learning that life can be kind. She's a shy and timid girl who we believe is quietly hiding her true personality until she feels fully safe. She is a local dog pulled from City of Buffalo Animal Shelter where she was not doing well, but she's doing amazing in her foster home: house-trained with zero accidents, sleeping soundly through the night in her crate, and keeping things peaceful with both cats and a resident female dog. Precious enjoys her crate and often brings toys inside to relax, especially during the day. She's quiet, calm, and the only sound you'll hear from her is the occasional adorable snore.
Food is her love language — if there's a tasty smell in the air, she'll bravely venture out to investigate. With patience, routine, and gentle encouragement, we know this sweet girl will blossom into a wonderful companion.
Precious is looking for a calm, low-key home with patient humans who will let her settle in on her own timeline. She may not be a constant cuddle buddy, but she enjoys being near her people in her own quiet way. As her confidence grows, so will her bond with her family.
