male, large, young
DESCRIPTION
The first glimpse I got of this little guy was of him peeking around a
storage building on November 12th. He was well-fed and in great
condition. I made him a warm bed on my back porch for the first week,
and then I brought him inside. I found out from a neighbor later that he
had been in the neighborhood for several days. The neighbor stated no
one had fed him or given him water .
He is very, very sweet, loving and playful! He loves to play with my
Boxer and Dachshund. During the day he has the run of the house as
long as I can keep an eye on him. At night, he sleeps in a pen in my
bedroom. When we wake up, he always gives a little howl! He is a
sweetheart! He still wants to chew, so I make sure he has a Benebone
and toys at all times. He has learned to go in his pen, to sit and to high-5
for treats and praise! When he is in his pen and starts yelping, he needs
to go outside ASAP.
He is very cautious about going through doors. Sometimes it takes a
treat to get him in the house. Also, he is cautious of some objects,
especially large ones. He is slowly building his confidence.
This sweet boy needs an inside home and lots of loving!
