Meet Claire! This sweet three-year-old, 50-pound girl came to the rescue as the pregnant mama of our "storybook litter." Now that her puppies are weaned and thriving, Claire is ready to find a home of her own!

Claire is a chill girl who's great on long car rides and happy to relax with her people. She's also incredibly affectionate and loves meeting new people-she'll happily soak up all the pets and attention you can give! She's a cuddler who doesn't quite realize her size-she thinks she's a lapdog! She does have a prey drive, so she's not suitable for homes with small animals, and she can be a bit selective with other dogs with alpha energy. We recommend a doggy playdate to ensure a good match if you have a canine companion at home.

While they can be aloof with strangers, Shar Peis are devoted companions with a calm demeanor, making them wonderful family pets.
