Willow is wiggles and wonderful! I practically squealed when I first met Willow. Why? Because she is just the cutest 8-month-old puppy with a warm, friendly personality and a calm, easy-going presence. She greeted me by crawling into my lap and very gently nuzzling into my neck and I was sold. Then she showed off how cute her whole wiggle-wag is when she is happy and it was solidified! She currently weighs 26 lbs, with a bit of growing left to do- just enough to keep her in that perfectly huggable size!
We have already established, Willow is confident and affectionate when meeting new people. Everyone is a friend and she hasn’t met a stranger, so if you are looking for the kind of puppy who walks right up, tail wagging, and happily soaks up attention- here she is.And of course she may grow out of this but right now she literally melts when you pick her up. No wiggling, no worries, just pure puppy trust. She’s food-motivated, eager to learn, and the kind of student who makes training a joy.
Her approach with dogs is pretty similar- happy and social. She meets new dogs with a friendly, calm hello and is easy-going even in large groups of dogs older and larger than her. During playgroup, she tags along confidently with her friends and is all around easy-going. She loves sharing space and affection and would do wonderfully with a friendly, medium-energy dog who enjoys a game of chase or good company to sniff around the yard with. Willow also met our house cat and she was polite, curious and gently playful. She is the perfect age to join a house with a cat. She will being her cat-friendly approach and with time and guidance, she will understand boundaries around the cat and grow into an even more respectful friend to felines.
Willow has the basics of leash walking but she is still learning her best leash manners (as all young pups do), but her love of treats will make teaching and reinforcing good habits easy. She is so attentive to her people, she is going to thrive with continued guidance as she grows into an adult dog. This little sweetheart would make an amazing family dog. She is gentle, adaptable, and adores everyone she meets, all she needs is a family ready to continue her puppy training and give her the love and structure every dog needs to blossom.
If you’re looking for a joyful, loving, easy-to-love companion, Willow is here, ready and waiting for her adoption day!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
