Lovey Kissy is believed to be a pittie/hound mix approximately 6 months old and currently weighs 35 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Lucky for you, Lovey Kissy is waiting for her forever in a loving foster home which allows us to know so much more about her.

Lovey Kissy brings energy, curiosity, and a whole lot of love everywhere she goes. She’s playful, affectionate, and oh-so cuddly, with a personality as big as her heart. Her daily routine is simple and perfect: eat, play hard, nap harder, repeat, with snuggles being a non-negotiable part of the day. Lovey Kissy loves curling up right next to her people, climbing into laps whenever she can, and soaking up belly rubs and affection.

Her foster family raves about her wonderful house manners and how quickly she settles into a routine. With a little time to get her bearings, Lovey Kissy makes herself right at home and fits beautifully into the flow of a household. She’s comfortable in busy family environments and is very tolerant with kids, happily switching between playful energy and cozy snuggles. She’s currently living with older children and has been great with visiting kids as well. Her foster mom has even said Lovey Kissy is so incredibly tolerant when her kids are playing with her and how they love to wrestle. It's the cutest thing and she would make a great companion for a family with kids.

Lovey Kissy is dog friendly and absolutely adores her foster sibling. She loves to play wrestle, chase, bounce around, and engage in joyful, goofy rough-and-tumble play. She does best with slow, thoughtful introductions to new dogs, and once she’s comfortable, her playful side really shines. She would thrive with a doggy friend who'll give her some space in the beginning, let her open up and once she does, a playful pal who enjoys wrestling matches. When playtime winds down, she’s great about settling herself and enjoying the fresh air or a good nap.

This girl is a toy enthusiast through and through. Her favorite thing in the world is her rubber squeaky ball. She carries it everywhere, even outside for potty breaks. She’s a fetch superstar, will happily toss it around herself, and loves lying on her back holding her toy with her paws or mouth. Stuffed toys don’t stand a chance. She’s truly a big baby who just wants to play, be loved, and snuggle up close.

Lovey Kissy is an active, curious puppy who will benefit from daily exercise and enrichment. She loves running around a yard, exploring every smell, watching people and animals beyond the fence, and taking in the world around her. A home with a yard would be a big plus. While she can be a little unsure at first, she warms up quickly and is eager to engage once she feels safe. With a patient, active family, she has all the makings of a wonderful adventure buddy as her confidence continues to grow.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travel safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page!

Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call, creating a fun and personalized experience!

The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!

We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
