DESCRIPTION
Hi! I'm Aurelia! I'm a 3.5 year old bundle of wiggly, friendly energy. I recently found myself without a home so the kind people at KC Pet Project scooped me up and have been taking care of me. I have gotten all my vaccinations and had a spay surgery. I also come with a microchip so I'll never be so lost again! I am really just a young girl looking for stability and guidance in a new furever home.
Aurelia recently went on a Dog Day Out! Here's what our volunteer had to say: We walked on the Trolley Trail. We ran a little and she did very well on the leash while running. She probably could have run more but I pooped out. She pulls a little on the leash while walking but not too badly. We had lunch on a patio after the trail and she was a perfect dog! Just sat or laid next to me and chilled. After lunch, we sat in the grass under a tree for a bit. She stayed right next to me and even tried her best to fit on my lap. She is SO loving!
I could potentially live with other dog siblings but would want to meet them first at the shelter to make sure our play styles compliment one another. Please come meet me today!
My ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who have more restrictions on homes they can go to find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived. ...
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Pit Bull Terrier is a resilient and loyal breed known for its muscular build and loving nature. Originally bred for bull baiting and later dog fighting, Pit Bulls today are beloved family pets cherished for their gentle temperament and playful personality. With proper training and socialization, Pit Bull Terriers make affectionate companions that thrive on human interaction. Recognized for their strength and agility, these dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation to channel their energy positively, reinforcing their reputation as devoted and trainable pets.
