Meet Ova! This young, 36-pound terrier–pit bull mix is a sweet, friendly girl with a gentle soul and an affectionate nature. Ova has been described by staff and volunteers as easy to handle, social, and loose-bodied, happily placing her head into the leash and strolling along on a nice, relaxed walk. She enjoys human company, seeks attention, and settles in comfortably without fear. Ova is currently healing from a recent hip surgery and will need a calm home that can follow activity restrictions while she continues her rehab, but her prognosis is good and she’s already weight-bearing and feeling comfortable.
