Diamond is a 5-6 year old sweetheart who is searching for a long-term palliative care foster to give her the love and comfort she deserves.

When Diamond came to us, it was clear she had been the result of backyard breeding-likely an attempt to create a "pocket pit"-which unfortunately left her with several significant medical challenges. She has structural issues with her legs, and due to the complexity of her condition, surgical options are both extremely costly and very high-risk. Because of this, we have chosen to focus on keeping her comfortable through pain management and allowing her to enjoy her life to the fullest.

Diamond also has a breathing condition related to her breeding that may require surgery in the future.

Despite everything she's been through, Diamond is truly an incredible dog. She is:
Extremely friendly and affectionate
Great with calm, respectful dogs
Good with cats
Wonderful with kids

She has so much love to give and deserves a safe, stable home where she can relax and be cherished.

Fido's Companion Rescue will cover all veterinary expenses for the rest of Diamond's life. All we need is a compassionate home willing to open their heart to her and give her the forever foster she so deeply deserves.
