Gustav is a 3½-year-old terrier/Lab mix with a big personality and an even bigger love for fun. He’s very dog-friendly and thrives in playgroups, where he loves to romp around with his canine pals. His favorite game is pretending to play fetch—he’s all about the chase, even if the “bringing the ball back” part still hasn’t clicked. Gustav is a goofy, chunky boy who adores snacks (maybe a little too much). Interactive toys are his jam… at least until he gets too hangry—then all brain power disappears, and he’ll let you know with dramatic whining and cries of disapproval.

Private custom transport routes and destinations available upon request with financial responsibility on Adopted family.

Our Animals are brought to you in transport buses or Vans equipped with air conditioning for comfort and onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. Our Adoption Coordinator will help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
For those being picked up at our Angleton, Tx location $75. This includes all vetting: DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, micro-chipping, a collar, and many years of laughs and love to come!

We know our dogs very well and have spent countless hours with them, learning all of their quirks and goofy personalities. We have a team of dedicated animal care professionals that work day in and day out to bring every Little Hero out of their shell. From the moment they are accepted into our program we provide behavior & medical care to prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally training, and providing social enrichment. We provide socialization for our dogs through playgroups and one on one bonding time, where we will also work on their other skills such as leash training and basic commands. Our goal is to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts and just want someone to be understanding with them, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
