Meet Dora — lovingly nicknamed Dora the Explorer after she was found wandering along the roadside on her own little adventure. Despite our efforts to find her family, no one ever came for her. Now she’s ready for a fresh start with a family who will never let her explore alone again.

Dora is about 2 years old and just under 40 pounds — the perfect medium size for both adventures and couch snuggles. We believe she may be a Pit/Heeler/Corgi mix, which gives her a cute, sturdy build and a smart, attentive personality.

She is incredibly friendly and social — great with kids, other dogs, and basically every human she meets. Dora has a sweet, happy nature and just wants to be part of the family, whether that means walks, playtime, or relaxing at home.

After being left to fend for herself, Dora is more than ready to trade solo exploring for a lifetime of love, safety, and belly rubs.
