Our Canine Director will then contact you to set up a time to visit (our building is operating with scheduled visits). Email with any questions about Glen or his adoption process!

Please note: applications will be screened for best fit for both Glen and the potential adopter. Adopters MUST be within a reasonable distance of Winona, MN (or willing to travel) for multiple visits if needed, and able to return to our partner vet when Glen's old enough to be neutered.

Personality description:
Are you in need of a shadow? A pal who’ll dutifully keep you company at all times, simply because of how much he loves you? Then you should apply to meet Glen!

Glen (or Glen Coco, full name) came to the shelter when he, his litter mates, and mom were abandoned by their family along a highway. A good samaritan called the abandonment in and, following a vet checkup, they were quickly whisked away to a foster home.

Even from a few weeks old, Glen stood out among his siblings as the pup who most appreciated cuddles. That preference sticks with him today as he’s growing up; he’s still happiest to be near his people at all times.

Glen shows a great intelligence level, picking up on daily routine and new skills quickly. Occasionally he utilizes his smarts for sneaky purposes – like scouting out litterboxes for snacks – so monitoring and consistency with training/house boundaries are key.

In Glen’s second foster home, he interacted wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children of various age groups. He’s eager to frequently play, so a home with a younger dog playmate is ideal. Otherwise, Glen will thrive in a VERY active house where people are around most of the day to keep him busy and happy.
