DESCRIPTION
My name is Leo. I just turned 5 years old. I am Pitt/Boxer mix. I am a big boy weighing almost 100 pounds.
I am crate trained and potty trained. I listen to simple commands such as sit or shake paw.
I sleep all night indoors in my crate. A few times, I
must have been dreaming about fire trucks because I howled like one in my sleep.
I like to wrestle with my canine sister and sometimes we can play pretty rough but I can play with my humans too, not as rough. I like to play tug-a-war with my rope. And I love my squeaky chew toys even though they do not last very long.
I am not a picky eater at all. I really like green beans and asparagus. I love my treats that I get when I am good. Especially the ones with peanut butter inside and the crunchy outside.
I get really excited when I get to go on walks. I am very curious about everything outside of the house and yard.
I have a cat sister, but we do not play. I used to nap with her until my canine sister showed me, we do not do that. Now I just watch her and bark at her on occasion. I really would like to play with her but I am scared.
I really love when my humans rub my belly or pet me. I like to sit with them while they are watching TV but I sometimes get restless.
My perfect human would be able to take me on walks, play tug-a-war with me, cuddle with me, work with me on commands so I can go to the dog park one day and maybe help me be able to play with cats.
I am very loyal to my human. I have never been around kids but I see them outside the fence and am very curious about them. I wag my tail when I see them and run through the yard.
I love to talk to my human and when she talks back I move my ears in funny ways and tilt my head.
My human mommy says I am very funny.
I stretch really big first thing in the morning and get the zoomies mid-day, then enjoy relaxing and playing with my canine sister.
Leo is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.
