Doug found himself at the shelter when his human was leaving for college and unable to take him, and the family was not willing to keep him. He can be a bit shy at first but warms up quickly. He is such a sweet guy! He enjoys getting out for walks and seems to walk nicely on a leash. He doesn’t enjoy being left alone for long periods of time indoors, so a good and safe yard or crate training would be best for him. He can’t wait to find a new family that will love him and work with him and provide him the best home possible!
