Bowie is looking for a true forever home — one that will give him the time and stability he’s been missing.
Bowie has been returned multiple times, not because he is a bad dog, but because he hasn’t been given the chance to properly settle in. Dogs don’t adjust instantly, especially dogs who have been bounced from home to home. Bowie hasn’t yet had the opportunity to decompress, feel safe, and understand that he finally belongs somewhere. What he needs most is consistency, patience, and a family willing to give him time to breathe and be himself.
Bowie is a young, playful dog with so much potential. He loves fetch, walks, and being active, and he thrives when he gets enough physical and mental stimulation. Once he starts to settle, he shows his sweet, affectionate side and becomes a big snuggler who enjoys being close to his people. He loves people, takes treats gently, knows how to sit, and learns quickly. He is dog friendly and kid friendly and would do well in a home with another playful dog, though that is not a requirement.
At the end of a good, active day, Bowie sleeps soundly and is content to relax. He would thrive in a home that offers routine, structure, and clear guidance as he adjusts to family life. Bowie is not broken. He is simply a young dog who has been confused by too much change and not enough stability. In the right home, with someone who is committed to giving him time and consistency, Bowie has everything it takes to become an incredible companion.
Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
