Rolo – ID #17731 – Kennel #77
Arrived March 22nd as a stray – American Pit Bull Terrier Mix – Brindle & White – Male – Approx. 1 year old – 50.5 lbs (estimated adult weight 55-65 lbs) – Neutered – Up to date on vaccines – Heartworm negative
Meet Rolo — a handsome brindle and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix who arrived at the shelter on March 22nd as a lost boy wearing his ID tag, and yet his family never came to bring him home. That fact alone is heartbreaking, because one look at this beautiful, calm, and gentle boy makes it impossible to understand how anyone could leave him behind.
Rolo already knows sit and down, walks beautifully on leash, and has the kind of steady, quiet presence that makes him an absolute dream companion. He is the kind of dog who will match your energy on a long hike through the woods just as easily as he will settle in beside you at the end of the day — loyal, calm, and completely devoted to the person lucky enough to call him theirs.
The best news of all? Rolo is already neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on all of his vaccines — fully ready for his fresh start the moment the right person says yes. At just about a year old, he has his whole life ahead of him, and every single day of it deserves to be spent loved and cherished the way he was always meant to be.
If you have been looking for a handsome, easygoing companion to share your adventures and your quiet moments alike, Rolo is your boy. Come meet him in Kennel #77 — he has already been let down once, and he deserves a person who will never let that happen again.
