Chop is a sweet, soulful boy who’s ready for a fresh start. He has gentle eyes, a calm presence, and a loving nature that comes through as soon as you spend a little time with him. Chop already knows simple commands and enjoys interacting with people, showing that he wants to connect and do the right thing.

Sadly, Chop’s previous owner had to travel frequently for work, and Chop spent much of his time living in a garage. Through no fault of his own, he missed out on the comfort, companionship, and normal home life every dog deserves. Now he’s hoping for something better — a home where he can finally be part of the family and not left on the sidelines.

Chop is fully vetted, heartworm negative, and will be neutered prior to adoption. He would thrive in a home where he can enjoy regular companionship, gentle guidance, and the simple joys of being indoors with his people. This good boy has so much love to give and is ready to trade his kennel — and his past — for a warm, permanent place to call home.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
