Rowan is 8 weeks old and weighs 9 pounds. His world is getting bigger every day as he discovers grass, sunshine, new smells, and new sounds. He loves playing with his toys and happily settles in for cuddles after a day of exploring, or into his crate for a long nap. Rowan is a curious, slightly clumsy, and happy puppy who is building confidence with every new experience. According to Wisdom Panel, he is a mix of 10 different breeds with the top breeds being 46% Pit Bull, 22% American Staffordshire Terrier and 13% German Shorthaired Pointer. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org Due to his breed makeup, no apartments please.

Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
