Wiggles is estimated to be 1.5-years-old, he weighs 44 lbs and breed? Well… rescue? The truth is with any rescue we cannot be sure but this boy had us all scratching our heads. Let’s go with maybe a little pittie, maybe a little staffie… every rescue dog has a little of those in there. He has a set of small, flippy-floppy ears, a salt & pepper coat, a goofy little smile, gives the gentlest kisses and has a sweet love of toys. Wiggles undoubtedly loves people in the sweetest way and hes also excellent in the car, he hops right in on his own, settles quickly, and is the ideal co-pilot for errands (especially snack-runs), adventures, or even quick drives with the windows down- just for fun.
If you have a dog who loves to play, Wiggles says: Say no more. Wiggles is a doggie-day care dog who loves to play! He can go from matching a rough-and-rowdy player to walking alongside the calmer companions. He would thrive with a confident, medium-energy dog that enjoy wrestling, romping, and taking breaks to just lay around in the sun.
During playgroups he has met- pushy dogs, dominant personalities, goofy over-the-top players, and polite communicators…and Wiggles loved all of them. He’s silly, social, and endlessly happy- the kind of dog who believes every dog is a friend waiting to be made.
Wiggles also met our house cat and was a little unsure- call it cautious curiosity. It was easy to see his curiosity would lead to him chasing so until he has a chance to stay with our Overnight Kitty Committe, we are saying no cats for him. If you are interested and have a cat, please apply and let us determine how cat-tolerant he is in.
Because Wiggles is still young he is still learning and working on a few things. He has the basics of polite leash walking but does still pull a bit on occasion. Basically, he get’s ahead of himself not because he’s difficult, but because he’s so excited to see the world.
He will thrive in a home with consistency, positive training, mental enrichment, and daily outlets for his happy-go-lucky physical energy and in return, you’ll get a dog who gives 110% to everything he does. His ideal home would include a yard OR an active person/family, a playful doggy sibling (female preferred), adopters who enjoy walks, play sessions, and lots of love, along with older kids or dog-savvy littles. He could adapt to an apartment because he’s not vocal, but he would need daily exercise and structure.
You will love this boy because he’s the friendliest friend, the happiest happy-boy, and a sweetheart who thinks belly rubs and snuggles might be the best thing in life.
If you want a dog who makes you smile, makes your dog smile, and makes your world a little sweeter- Wiggles is your boy!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
