DESCRIPTION

Looking for a goofy, lovable sidekick with a heart-shaped nose and a very serious lap-dog delusion? Meet Leroy Lap Lovin Brown!

Leroy is an all-white, two-ish-year-old Pittie/Staffy mix (best guess!) who is basically pure joy wrapped in a snuggly package. He has the most adorable brown-and-pink heart-shaped nose, a permanently happy vibe, and a personality that screams “head empty, only love.” He is convinced he belongs in your lap…and honestly, he’s right. Couch cuddles, movie nights, being the little spoon? Leroy is already there.

He’s currently thriving in a foster home with kids ages 7 and 14, and he is AMAZING with them. Extremely tolerant, super gentle, and absolutely soaks up their affection like it’s his full-time job. Leroy lives for love, pets, booty scratches (his favorite), hugs, and attention of any kind. He’ll happily wiggle his way right past you and plop his butt in your lap like it was always meant to be there.

Leroy is a certified goofball. He gets the cutest zoomies, loves to sunbathe like a little baked potato, and has a way of turning an ordinary day into something that makes you laugh. He’s playful without being overwhelming, cuddly without being needy, and just an all-around good boy. He walks nicely on leash, doesn’t make a big fuss about other dogs barking, and absolutely adores people. Because of that, he could do apartment living just fine, but he’d be over the moon with a yard where he can zoom, sniff, and sunbathe to his heart’s content.

When it comes to other dogs, Leroy is a polite, playful gentleman who appreciates good manners and chill vibes. He’s been in multiple playgroups and has even helped with dog assessments, showing us just how social and adaptable he can be. Leroy does best meeting new dogs on leash first, where he can take his time, sniff, and decide if he’s feeling the friendship, and once he’s comfortable, he’s happy to join in.

His play style is wonderfully balanced: Leroy enjoys a good game of chase or some light wrestling, but he’s not pushy or overwhelming. He plays for a bit, then happily takes breaks like a true professional. He’s great at reading the room (and the dogs!) and adjusting his energy to match. Calm, low-key canine friends—especially sweet, easygoing females—tend to be his favorite companions.

He’s also proven himself to be a fantastic outing dog. Leroy did AMAZING at his outing to a restaurant—calm, relaxed, unfazed by people, food, or other dogs, and just vibing his way through the experience. Coffee shops, patios, dog-friendly adventures? Leroy is down.

At home, he’s doing great with house manners, sleeps well, settles easily, and even handled fireworks like a champ (honestly better than his foster sister!). He’s food-motivated, eager to please, and learning more every day—with a whole lot of tail wags along the way.

If you want a snuggly, silly, people-loving, heart-nosed goof who will make you laugh, steal your couch, and happily accept unlimited booty scratches—Leroy is your guy. He’s ready to be your best friend, your shadow, and your favorite part of every day 💕
