Pembroke Welsh Corgi and Chihuahua Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet Kristin Ess!

Kristin Ess is a female, Corgi/Chihuahua mix and born March 2023!

She is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and required spay when age-appropriate. Spay/Neuter Disclosure:
Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.

Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi, known for its iconic stubby legs and fox like appearance, is a small herding dog breed originating from Wales. These intelligent and affectionate dogs are beloved for their playful and outgoing nature, making them excellent companions for families and singles alike. With their distinctive coat patterns in colors such as red, sable, and tri color, Pembroke Welsh Corgis are recognized for their adaptability, loyalty, and agility, excelling in various activities from herding to agility competitions.
