Meet Happy All the Time!
Happy All the Time is a sweet, mellow adult Pekingese who just needs a little patience before showing you what a wonderful companion he can be. He may be shy and nervous at first, but give him some space and a gentle approach and he'll soon become your little shadow, following you from room to room.
Happy is a low-energy, independent guy who enjoys a calm, quiet home. Once he trusts you, he loves being near his person and will even climb into your lap for some cuddle time. He's also an excellent car rider and is perfectly content relaxing while you're on the road.
Happy has learned to walk and potty on leash. He needs a slow approach when putting his leash on, but once he's outside, he happily walks around and heads back toward the house when he's finished. With regular potty breaks, he does very well, and he will use a pee pad in an emergency if left for a longer day.
Crates make Happy nervous, but he does wonderfully staying loose in his foster room with his blankets, pillows, and toys. He sleeps there quietly without making a mess or getting into anything.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Pekingese is a small and affectionate toy breed known for its lion like appearance, characterized by a distinctive flat face, dark eyes, and a flowing mane of fur. Originating in ancient China, these dogs were cherished as companions to royalty and nobility. Despite their small size, Pekingese are confident and independent dogs with a charming personality. They require regular grooming to maintain their luxurious coat and benefit from early socialization and obedience training. Overall, the Pekingese makes a loyal and loving companion for those willing to invest time and effort into their care.
