Gizmo is one of the newest members of Dante’s Hope, and at just a little over 5 pounds and about 1½ years old, he is as tiny as he is precious.
Gizmo was born with a congenital condition called Microphthalmia, which simply means one of his eyes didn’t fully develop and is smaller than the other. He does have both eyes — one is just tiny. The good news? It does not affect his health at all. It just gives him an extra dose of character and an adorable, unforgettable face.

Gizmo is an absolute cuddle bug who loves being close to his person. He would happily spend his days snuggled in your lap or following you around the house.
Because of his very small size, we are recommending a home without young children. Accidents can happen, and at only 5 pounds, he could easily be injured if dropped or fallen on.
