DESCRIPTION
Hi! I'm Walnut, a playful 7 week old puppy with lots of love to give. I’m a possible pekingese mix weighing 2 pounds. I love running around and playing with toys, but I also have a heart murmur. It doesn't stop me from being the happiest pup you'll meet! I dream of a home where I can play, nap, and give plenty of puppy kisses. If you're looking for a sweet companion who can fill your days with joy and laughter, I'm your guy! Let's make countless happy memories together. Why not come meet me? Maybe we're the perfect match!
Walnut is one of our ambassador dogs! His adoption fee of $300 helps cover expenses for other fosters who need more medical or long term care.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Pekingese is a small and affectionate toy breed known for its lion like appearance, characterized by a distinctive flat face, dark eyes, and a flowing mane of fur. Originating in ancient China, these dogs were cherished as companions to royalty and nobility. Despite their small size, Pekingese are confident and independent dogs with a charming personality. They require regular grooming to maintain their luxurious coat and benefit from early socialization and obedience training. Overall, the Pekingese makes a loyal and loving companion for those willing to invest time and effort into their care.
