This sweet terrier mix is about 4 years old and ready to steal your heart... and your couch. Gilbert is the definition of a joyful companion, always wagging, always eager to greet you at the door with a happy bounce.

He adores attention, whether it’s belly rubs, game time, or simply curling up beside you on the couch (or bed) and his playful spirit shines during walks and play sessions (though he’s also happy to be your shadow around the house). Gilbert gets along famously with other dogs, making him a great fit for dog-friendly homes, single, multi-pet, or with kids. His favorite pastime? Chewing on a sturdy bone or toy—so bring on the Nylabones, dental chews, and fun!

Gilbert is fully potty trained, well-mannered indoors, and eager to please. He just needs a little help shedding a few “cuddly” extra pounds. With portion-controlled meals and daily walks (or zoomies in the yard!), he’s well on his way to a healthy, happy physique.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, dental, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:$425.00
