Between his goofy personality, his never-ending requests for belly rubs, and his determination to be wherever his favorite people are, this handsome boy has quite the personality. He's a big fan of life's simple pleasures, whether that's a morning stroll, a car ride with his favorite human, or claiming a cozy spot on the couch for a rainy-day movie marathon. And once you've earned a place in Ryder's heart, you better believe he's going to make sure you know just how much he loves you!

Ryder is a sweet, affectionate boy who forms incredibly strong bonds with his people once he's had a little time to get comfortable and build trust. He absolutely loves attention, and we mean ALL forms of attention! Belly rubs are practically a love language for this guy. His foster family says that sometimes all they have to do is make eye contact with him when they get home from work, and he'll immediately roll onto his back in his crate, ready to collect his welcome-home belly rubs. Talk about knowing how to work the room!
One thing we absolutely love about Ryder is just how much he enjoys learning and making his people proud. This smart cookie already knows sit, stay, lay down, and shake with BOTH paws! He's also crate trained and does wonderfully with his routine. He's even learned to leave tempting treats and food alone when asked! Give this boy a little encouragement and a tasty reward, and he's ready to show off everything he knows!
When it comes to his favorite activities, Ryder is a pretty easy guy to please. He loves his morning walks, exploring the yard, and hopping in the car to tag along for an adventure. He's always happy to get outside and do a little frolicking, but he's equally happy to trade in the excitement for a relaxing afternoon on the couch. Give him a peanut butter-filled KONG, a squeaky or crinkly toy, or a comfy place to lounge near his people, and he's one happy camper. Fair warning though, Ryder has also been known to moonlight as a professional sock bandit, so you may occasionally find yourself negotiating the return of a missing sock!
What makes Ryder so special is that underneath all of his silly antics is a boy with such a big heart. He thrives on companionship, loves having a routine, and finds so much happiness in simply being included in everyday life. He's the kind of dog who will happily accompany you on your morning walk, supervise your afternoon activities, and then curl up beside you when it's time to call it a day.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page!
Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call, creating a fun and personalized experience!
The adoption fee is $1200 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog's growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap - ranging from $100-$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
