Starlight Aura - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Wichita, Kansas

Meet our newest Canine Courage graduate, Starlight Aura! She's about 7 months old and weighs 27 lbs. She came to us pretty shy, but through constant repetition with our Behavior Team and CC volunteers, she's bloomed into a very loving pup who will slowly approach and love you. Our walk started by saying hi to the Behavior Team, then we headed straight out the door without an issue. In the play yard, she started to really bloom, especially when I sat down. In that moment, she charged at me with the force of the wildebeest stampede from The Lion King and ran straight into my chest, then proceeded to lick my face with the passion of a thousand telenovelas. She loves lap time and hiding her face in your armpits and legs. She also LOVES cheese! We would recommend supervision with young children under 10.
