Meet Rosie, who you may remember as Griselda from November. She's a 10-month-old Great Pyrenees and blue heeler mix! She weighs about 35 lbs and was most recently surrendered to us due to her owner's health. She's affectionate, shy, playful, curious, friendly, active, and social. She's lived with 2 cats, whom she got along fine with, a large pittie, whom she did well with, and children (ages 3 & 7), whom she loved! She's also lived with chickens and ducks, but will kill them, so we'd recommend a home without any birds or poultry! She likes pets, tug-o-war, roughhousing, fetch, and playing chase! Rosie loves playing outside and jumping on the trampoline! She will pull on the leash, so we'd suggest a Weiss Walkie leash, which we have in our KHS Store. She's primarily been kept outdoors and is not potty-trained yet. Her ideal home would be one where she can free roam outside and one with kids, as well as a big fenced-in yard! If that sounds like you, visit her today! ...
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
