Meet Nuka, who you may remember as a puppy from 2025, back when he was named Brutus. He's 1-year-old now, weighs 62 lbs, and knows sit and spin. He comes to us from our neighbors at Wichita Animal Services, so we don't know much, but he does know sit and spin! He loves to play, enjoys giving hugs, and needs an active owner who can keep up with him. If you're giving him treats, we'd recommend saying "gentle" in a clear, firm tone. When he starts to jump, our Behavior team recommends simply turning away and using a good stern "no", "off," or "down," then rewarding him when all four feet are on the ground.
