Mary Katherine Gallagher is a SUPERSTAR! She's only 7 months old and weighs 30 lbs! She can be a bit shy at first, so I got on the ground and let her sniff my hands and hair, which seemed to calm her down. She allowed me to leash her and had the most adorable trot on the way to the play yard. I sat down and gave her room to do her business, but she came over and slowly put her head into my lap. I gave her chin and side some pets, and she gradually became more and more social! She also showed an interest in other dogs and got very wiggly butt whenever one of our Intake Specialists or Veterinary Assistants was bringing dogs over from WAS.
