I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW MUCH I LOVE MARLEY! She is the perfect dog, 10/10, no notes! Marley is a year old and weighs 60 lbs! She was found as a stray, and the people who found her tell us that all the local rescues were full and that they were unable to find the owner, so Marley stayed with them for the past 6 months! Unfortunately, she hadn't been getting along with their 3 resident pups, so she was brought to us to find her a home! Marley is an affectionate, playful, curious, social, active, and very friendly lapdog! She does great with young children, but can be hyper around them. As previously mentioned, she lived with dogs and did okay at first, but eventually began to annoy them, leading to snapping and reacting from all parties. Unfortunately, she also began to food guard around other dogs, so we'd recommend feeding her separately. We'd also highly recommend doing a dog-to-dog introduction with any dogs you may have before adopting to help avoid returns. Marley enjoys getting pets, cuddling, playing tug-o-war, fetch, and being chased! When I had her out in the play yard, all she wanted to do was get kisses and spend time on my lap! She hasn't had any exposure to the leash, but walked just fine for me. She is housetrained and will go to the door when she needs to go outside! Her ideal home includes an energetic owner who loves to cuddle, has the time to train, and is kind. Come visit this incredibly sweet girl today! ...
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
