Comby (short for Honeycomb!) may be on the larger side but she is one incredibly gentle and loving gal! Comby comes to us from Tennessee where she was found wandering along a rural county road. A friendly home took her in and they kept her safe for a few days until a local shelter had a space for her. Thankfully that shelter is one of our transfer partners, and we are so happy we can help highly adoptable dogs like Comby find homes up here where there are more resources and more adopters.
Comby was in playgroup with many other dogs at her shelter down south and seeing the playgroup videos is one of the reasons we said yes to her. She is playful, but not rowdy! It seemed all the dogs liked her, and she them. Comby loves ALL people and will stand on her back legs and give you a big hug!
One other thing we noticed about Comby is she doesn't have any accidents in her kennel. She will hold it and the once outside she unleashes quite the stream! All of this bodes well for housebreaking, and for having previously lived in a home.
Comby is such a wonderful girl, and whoever winds up with her is incredibly lucky. She is the best!
Comby's adoption fee is $300. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
