The shelter is a difficult place for a senior pet and sweet and gentle Viola deserves a home that will help her shine in her golden years. Viola recently enjoyed a Shelter Skip Day. Viola was very calm when riding in the car. She may be 8-years-old, but you would never have guessed that she's a senior dog. She has lots of pep in her step and got a burst of energy while enjoying an arboretum. She loved smelling the flowers. She clocked over 10,000 steps on her walk in the park. She also walked around a market and did great! She met tons of strangers and saw a lot dogs and was very calm, though she definitely wanted to play with the other dogs. Two little girls ran up to pet her and she immediately flopped over on her back and demanded belly rubs. It was so adorable! She was also very well-behaved outside of the market despite the crowds. And afterwards she took a nap in the car before going back to the shelter. Come meet Viola today and fall in love!

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
