A good Samaritans pulled up with this darling little Valentine! She had been abandoned outside their home, and while they would have been willing to keep her, one of their pups was adamant she was not welcome!. However, we are thrilled to be able to take her in! Her name is now Jolene. We are betting she'll be scooped up very quickly by some lucky adopter!
Cute as they come in both looks and outgoing personality, it is very hard to tell what breed combo she may be. In profile, she shows some shepherd, but at the estimated age of 10 weeks old, puppies are all little adorable blobs like Jolene. Her fur is mostly short but with longer hairs fluffing over her back and her coloring is an unusual pinkish gray! Whoever adopts her will have to keep us apprised as she expands in size and her looks become more refined. Looks like she will most likely be medium size.
You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
