DESCRIPTION
COMING SOON. If she is a potential match, you will be contacted by her foster to discuss her personality.
Meet Lamby! Lamby is a young female poodle who was a stray in NYC. Lucky for her, she found her way to CARE and to a foster home where she is thriving.
Lamby is housetrained to both outdoors and paper. She knows the sit command and is learning to walk on the leash without pulling. Unless, of course, she sees a squirrel! She is extremely smart and listens well. She rides nicely in the car, but will bark at people if they come near the car. She has been reactive to some people and some dogs when out of walks, but it's not often and is quickly redirected. Lamby's perfect home would be with a person or family who is willing to continue her training and walk her daily as she loves to go on walks. She is good with the other small dogs in the home, but is too large to be a good playmate for them as they are small. She is not food or toy aggressive, but highly motivated to please!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
