He was found tied up outside by his leg. The injury became so severe that it caused a deadly infection. To save his life, the only option was **amputation**. As if that wasn’t enough, Milán had also been beaten, leaving a scar on his eye.
His case became one of **Puerto Rico’s most publicized animal abuse cases**, helping lead to one of the **first criminal charges for animal abuse on the island**.
And yet… this incredible boy chose **love over fear.** ❤️
Despite everything he endured, Milán is one of the **sweetest, gentlest souls you will ever meet.** He absolutely **adores people**, does great with other animals, and just wants to be close to someone who will finally show him the kindness he always deserved.
