Hello there! My name is Iris. I am a mature lady looking for a soft place to land after my life was turned upside down. You see, I have been living an amazing life with my mom and doggy sister Bella for many years. My mom got sick and had to make the heartbreaking decision to let FCHS find new homes for Bella and myself. Unfortunately, Bella and I had to be split up into two different foster homes. Though we do not have to be adopted together, FCHS would really love to find someone who would open their hearts and home to both of us. We are very good girls, both potty trained and low maintenance. We enjoy a good romp around the yard but will settle quietly for a couch snooze after. We are very accustomed to a normal home routine and staff believe we would fall right back into our well behaved patterns. If you are interested in meeting one (OR BOTH!) of us, please fill out an application online. :)
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
