Meet Rocky
A playful little pup ready to take on the world!
Rocky is a 3-month-old, 13-pound brindle mixed-breed boy with a short, low-maintenance coat and a big puppy personality. He’s already neutered and off to a great start in life thanks to his foster family.
This happy guy is friendly, playful, curious, and funny, with an athletic streak that shows when he’s romping around the house or yard. One of Rocky’s most endearing quirks? He’ll run full speed and then flop right down onto his bed like he ran out of batteries—it’s guaranteed to make you smile.
Rocky loves playing with other dogs and does especially well with canine companions. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but he warms up with patience and kindness. His favorite game is a good old-fashioned tug-of-war with a rope, and he’s most active during the daytime.
He’s already learning his basics and knows sit, stay, come, off, leave it, and drop it—pretty impressive for such a young pup! Rocky responds to verbal correction, though if he’s unsure, he may run away rather than argue. He is crate trained, mostly potty trained with only rare accidents, and still working on leash skills, crate confidence, and perfecting house manners (normal puppy stuff!).
Rocky does require a home with a secure privacy-fenced yard where he can safely burn off his puppy energy. He would do well in a home with other dogs and is considered okay with young children. Cats are currently unknown.
If you’re looking for a loving, playful puppy who will grow into a fun, loyal companion, Rocky is ready to steal your heart (and maybe your rope toys).
His adoption fee is $400.
Rocky is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and is on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
