Ferret - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Tampa, Florida

I came from the island of Dominica in the Caribbean. Dominica is one of the top countries for animal abuse - dogs are often set on fire, used as shark bait, poisoned, and more. I came to the USA with with other dogs and cats that were lucky to enough to be chosen for the "Freedom Flight." It was an especially tough journey; once St. Nicholas Animal Rescue was getting the animals ready for the transport, there was a devastating landslide that completely blocked the road up to where they needed to be housed. Courageous volunteers put the dogs on their backs to carry them up the mountain to safety. We are proud to be a small part of their journey and to work alongside the many rescues and transporters who helped this happen.
