Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption

Come meet me and 75+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's Super Adoption Event, Furever Yours! Sunday, February 15th, 2026 at Paradise Island in Staten Island from 11am - 3pm!

Meet Sweetie! True to her name, she's the sweetest girl with the most beautiful golden coat.

Sweetie is about one year old and weighs approximately 40 pounds. She's an affectionate, friendly dog who enjoys being around people and other dogs. She can be a little jumpy when excited, but she means well and settles quickly with guidance.

She walks nicely on leash, is housetrained, and gets along well with other dogs. Sweetie would do best in a home that can continue reinforcing her manners and give her the structure and consistency young dogs need.

She's a loving, loyal companion ready for a fresh start and a family to call her own.

All of our cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, up to date on flea and tick preventative, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. All adults are combo tested; for some litters of kittens who have not been exposed to other cats, only one kitten in the litter may be tested. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and helps us continue rescuing animals.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week.
