MISS FAITH is very much a friendly gal. She's gentle, playful and smart! FAITH was recently blinded from an infection that showed no symptoms until she woke up one morning and was completely blind. The infection has since been cleared, and it's been amazing to see HOW WELL she has adjusted (from the very beginning) to not having her eyesight.. Miss Faith has always been so observant and curious, and that has most likely been the source of her success, She has and is adjusting with such grace & confidence. Faith has always been an independent young lady, and with her blindness, she remains so. The foster noted "yes, she is independent, and she is also attentive to commands."

Faith has been described as quiet (most of the time), funny, and not much of a couch potato (she loves to sniff around and explore)! Her current foster does not find her very affectionate, however we think that may be a relative assessment, as we have 2 other fosters who would vouch otherwise. She may not slobber you with kisses, but does appreciate an affectionate exchange. Faith has always been dog-friendly, and cat-neutral, however she hasn't been around anyone but humans since her blindness. She does very much love children, and her last day with eyesight was blessed, enjoying a full day with a couple kiddos.

Faith's energy level is rating about a 7 or 8 on a 1-10 scale. She is a good solid energy, and not too much. She is crated at bedtime and also when left home alone. Faith seems to also be house-trained.

We would love for you to review her profile prior to her blindness (she is listed under MISS FAITH, or you can email us and ask for a link). Below is an assessment from her current foster:

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
