Hi, I'm a 7-month-old hound mix with the most endearing little face you've ever seen. I'm still young and learning, and right now I weigh about 25 pounds-but I may grow a bit more as I finish growing up.

I really want to make friends, I just might need a little time to feel comfortable. If you go slow with me and give me a chance to warm up, I promise I'll come around and we'll be best friends in no time. Once I trust you, my sweet, loving side really shines through.

The world can still feel a bit big and overwhelming for me, so I do best with gentle guidance, patience, and a calm approach. I'm eager to learn and I want to get it right-I just need someone who will help me build confidence at my own pace.

A home with active children wouldn't be the best match for me, as too much hustle and bustle can make me nervous. What I'm really hoping for is a quieter, understanding home where I can feel safe and supported as I grow.

With patience, love, and a little time, I'll give you so much more in return-loyalty, affection, and a bond that keeps getting stronger every day.

All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments.
