About me:
Fritzi first came into rescue from a reservation shelter along with her puppies. By the time she arrived, she had already finished nursing them, so we thought the best thing for her would be a little break and a fresh start in a different foster home. Unfortunately, that transition caused her quite a bit of stress, and it took her some time to settle in.
Since then, Fritzi has made incredible progress. She went from being completely overwhelmed in a kennel to now willingly walking into it on her own. She once wanted nothing more than to leap the fence to escape, and now she can safely enjoy supervised off-leash time. Her growth has truly been amazing to watch.
Fritzi absolutely loves attention and wants to be right by your side soaking up all the pets she can get. She’s also incredibly smart and picked up sit, down, and shake very quickly. We’re not sure if she had a home before ending up at the shelter, but it’s possible these were things she had started learning before.
While she has come a long way, Fritzi is still a bit timid and shy at times. She’s looking for a patient, loving home that will continue helping her build confidence and fully come out of her shell.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
