Boomer is an incredibly sweet 11-year-old guy that is quite active yet for his age! He is a friend to all humans, including children and has lived with dogs and cats in his previous home. Boomer has very good manners and is sure to show you his secret handshake when you meet him, especially if there is a treat involved. Boomer is looking for a home (and surrounding area) that is free of any chickens, ducks, etc. If you can provide an active senior with a good home, call the shelter at 906 632 2519 to set up an appointment to meet Boomer. Please call for the quickest response to inquiries as those submitted through FB, Petfinder, and email are not always closely monitored. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is required before bringing Boomer home.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
