Hello friend! My name is Otto (or Ottopotamus for short) and I am 10 years young! What I need most for my remaining years is to find a family who will love and hang on to me forever. The best part is that I am a pretty easy going boy who doesn't ask for much, just a lovely walk every day with my humans and a place to snuggle up at night.
At my foster mom's I live with two other senior dogs and I mind my manners around them completely. The car ride to her place was a little scary because everything in my life lately has been flipped upside down, but I settled in so quick. After breakfast in the morning I am okay to relax on the couch and wander around while my people are at work. I have not gotten into anything, destroyed anything, or made messes.
When it's time for my daily walk I get very excited. Don't worry though, my foster mom says I am the best dog she has ever walked right off the hop! (Do I get a treat for that?) I see other dogs and people on walks and perk up a bit but mostly mind my business.

I absolutely love cuddles and belly rubs and sometimes at night, I even curl up into my foster moms chest and sleep there. My only little quirks? I do not like being kenneled or put into a closed-off room, I'm a little sensitive to my feet/nails being touched (it tickles ok!?) and I don't think I can live in a house with cat friends. But that's it! If my foster mom didn't already adopt the other senior foster she had, she told me she would adopt me too. I cannot wait to have my second chance with my forever family!

Adoption fee is $295. He is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
