Hello there! My name is Anita, and I was given this wonderful name by my loving foster parents when I was just a tiny little gal. I seem to be a spirited young pup, currently 9 weeks old, and already 12 pounds. I'm growing fast and always seem to be full of playful energy! While she may be small now, we do estimate that Anita could weigh 65-70 lbs as an adult. Some of her favorite things seem to be a good, fast run across the house, followed by a sudden stop right at your feet so thst she can launch a full-scale assault of puppy kisses! I seem to thrive on interaction and seeing my human friends smile. I'm still very much a baby. I am actively looking for my forever family. This social environment is crucial for me right now. I need to learn important things like proper socialization with new people and, eventually, other well-behaved dogs. More importantly, I need guidance and consistency to learn good manners and essential behaviors, such as house-training, crate training, and basic commands like sit and stay. I promise to fill your home with boundless love, fun-loving mischief, and the enduring loyalty that only a rescue pup can offer. I can't wait to start my adventure with you! Anita’s adoption fee is $250. She is a SHELTER HERO!!! This means that 100% of her higher adoption fee is used to offset the cost of caring for the other animals at the shelter. Also remember by adopting a shelter hero, you not only gain a new best friend but also make a positive impact on the lives of animals and the community as a whole. She is spayed, microchipped and has age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing fee may apply.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
