📍 Fostered in New England ⚖️ 45 lbs | 🎂 ~1.5 years old | 🐾 Aruba Rescue
Star was rescued in Aruba alongside his mom and siblings. One by one, his family found their forever homes — and now Star is the last one waiting.
At 45 pounds, Star is a wonderful medium-sized companion. He is currently thriving in his New England foster home and loves his canine foster sibling.
Star is affectionate, gentle, and bonds deeply with his people. Once he feels safe, he becomes what his foster lovingly calls a “warm blanket that kisses you.” He leans in for snuggles and happily showers his humans with affection.
About Star:
• Doing well with house training and continuing to improve
• Walks nicely on leash
• Rides well in the car
• Dog friendly — would thrive with an active canine companion
• Cat friendly, though he can be playful and occasionally a bit enthusiastic
• Currently living with children 10+ and doing well
Star may take a few minutes to warm up to new people, but once he does, he is incredibly loving and loyal. He would benefit from a patient home that can continue building his confidence. While DEF not required, a playful and active resident dog would be a wonderful match for him.
His mom and siblings are thriving in their adoptive homes, and now it’s Star’s turn.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
