Ready for some cuddles? Melrose (aka Rosie) is your girl! This 40 lb brindle beauty is as snuggly as can be and leans in for love.
Melrose does well on leash and rides well int he car. She has a nice medium energy level - she loves spending time zooming around the yard and playing with, but also loves hanging out on the couch watching some TV.
Melrose seems to be house trained and does well in the crate. She currently lives with an 11 year-old child who she loves. Melrose is independent with other dogs - she doesn't really engage in play and prefers human attention above all else. We think she would do best as the only dog in the home or with a well-matched similarly independent companion.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
