Tucker is a 3 year old, mixed breed. He was brought to the shelter in February 2026 after his original owner moved and could not take him along. Tucker is scheduled to be neutered and microchipped at the end of March. For now, though, he is updated on his vaccinations, flea treated, and dewormed.
This happy-go-lucky dude is a social butterfly with a love of playtime, cuddles, and, well, YOU! Tucker is a particular fan of both fetch (which he could play all day if you'd let him) and very food motivated. He's eager to please and sure to become a wonderful addition to a very lucky family.
Tucker gets along well with cats and children, but he will need some additional work on his housetraining. He does know several of his basic commands such as "sit" and he is crate trained.
If you are interested in adopting Tucker, please fill out an adoption application using our website (echumanesociety.org) and a member of staff will be in touch with you as soon as possible. You are also more than welcome to stop in anytime during our regular business hours and meet Tucker in person! Feel free to call the shelter at (814) 834-3247 if you have any questions.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
