Hi there! My name is Bigsby, and yes—I come with a pretty cool backstory.
I made my way to BHS from another shelter after an unfortunate run-in with a car. Long story short, my back left leg had to go… but guess what? I’ve upgraded to tripod mode. Less leg, more personality. Honestly, I think it just makes me faster in tight corners.
Thanks to my awesome friends at BHS, I’m feeling great and living life like nothing ever happened. I run, play, zoom, and smile like a total pro. Belly rubs? Don’t even get me started—I will absolutely melt and possibly grin for hours.
I’m always up for adventures—long walks, yard zoomies, couch cuddles, you name it. I’ve lived with kids and cats before and did great (I’m basically a social butterfly… minus one leg). I’m crate trained, cool with hanging out at home, and a BIG fan of car rides. Stick my head out the window and I’m convinced I’m the main character in a movie.
At the end of the day, I just love being a dog… and I’d be really, really good at being your best friend.
So… what do you say? Ready to roll with a tripod?
Interested in meeting me? We recommend submitting a general online adoption application and then heading to the shelter during our normal adoption hours (Mon: 12-4pm and Tues-Sun: 12-5pm) to meet our available animals. Please note: all applications are considered general until the animal has been met. If you have any questions, please contact animalcenter@bmorehumane.org or 410-833-8848 ext 2.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
